Step behind the scenes for an exclusive 60-minute Tropical House Experience, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to explore our Tropical House in a private setting, after it has closed to the public. Join our expert zookeepers as you assist with their daily routines and care for some of our most fascinating residents.

This experience is designed for up to two people, ensuring an intimate and memorable behind-the-scenes experience.

Private access to our Tropical House, home to our incredible animals like the coppery titi monkey, Linne's two-toed sloth, sun conures, free-flying birds, emerald boa, and Red-Footed Tortoise.

The chance to feed our Linne's two-toed sloth while learning about its natural diet, unique adaptations, and slow-paced lifestyle.

Hands-on experience helping zookeepers with their routine, including preparing food, cleaning habitats, and engaging in animal enrichment activities.

The chance to interact with a variety of tropical species while learning about their natural behaviours, diets, and conservation efforts.

Exclusive insights into the daily workings of the zoo and the care that goes into maintaining our tropical environment.

What is included in the Tropical House Experience?

The Tropical House Experience includes private access to our Tropical House after it has closed to the public, where you’ll assist our expert zookeepers with their daily routines. You’ll have the opportunity to feed our Linne’s two-toed sloth, help prepare food, clean habitats, and engage in animal enrichment activities. You’ll also interact with a variety of tropical species while learning about their behaviours, diets, and conservation efforts. While the animals have the freedom to participate, we cannot guarantee that all activities, including feeding, will take place, but we strive to offer a memorable and educational encounter.
